Warehouse Clearance Sale

Will there be a big Warehouse Sale?

Cottura is having a Clearance Sale at its Warehouse location November 13 - 23 from 9 am - 4pm each day.

Will there be a numbering system on Saturday like past years?
Yes. Concert style "place holder" numbers will be given at 6:30 am, maximum 2 per person. You can leave and come back by 7:30 am to resume your place in line.

What will be on sale?
Most specialty items and merchandise from our mall stores will be on sale at 30% off, overruns up and select items and patterns up to 50% off, and second quality pieces will be on sale up to 75% off. Selected limited or out of stock items and dinnerware patterns will not be offered, including Ricco and Antico Deruta patterns.

Is everything going to be on sale?
No. The demand for Cottura product remains strong, and Cottura has received significant price increases on certain patterns that preclude them from being offered at discount prices. Given today's economy, our prices are not much different than the prices Italian factories charge for the same product in their factory stores.

What about specific pieces?
Sorry, we cannot quote availability of specific pieces as we are selling each day through the Retail Showroom on Rowena and stock status changes daily.

Will you slash all prices more as time goes on?
It depends on the availability of stock. Merchandise is limited and we anticipate it will go fast. It is the best you can find and still a good value. Most merchandise will be 30% off, and up to 50% - 75% off for certain overstock product. If merchandise remains after the first week, we may discount items further.

Will you wheel and deal? What if I pay cash?
Discounted prices are firm. Product is limited and once it's sold, it's gone. Take advantage of the deals.

Will it be crowded?
Saturday will be the most crowded day, so keep that in mind especially if you don't like lines. Many people come each day, but it shouldn't be too crowded.

What is damaged or second quality?
Pieces that may have a small smear to pieces that have been repaired to pieces that are broken. All offered at great discounts.

Are you selling ceramic shards for mosaics?
Shards will be sold by the pound - $5 per pound.

What about parking?
There is plenty of parking on the street. Do not park in another business's parking lot - it's our neighborhood and we want to keep enjoying good relations with all.

Can I bring my kids?
No children will be allowed under 12. No strollers or carriages will be allowed due to safety issues.

What form of payment is accepted?
Cash, check, Visa/MasterCard only

Will you ship from the Sale or Showroom?
Yes.

Will you gift wrap my purchases?
Cottura gift wrapping materials for your purchase will be provided upon request.

What if it rains?
No problem. The sale will be inside the Warehouse and not in the outside parking lot as it has in the past.

Credits/Gift Certificates

Can I use credits/gift certificates?
Yes. See Gift Certificate and Credit information.

Cottura will honor Gift Certificates at full face value.

The Court authorized Cottura to honor credits with a 25% discount of face value or more if the product purchased is discounted more than 25% off.

Can I get a refund for credit or gift certificates?
Cottura isn't authorized and forfeit amount if not used.

Isn't it against that against the law?
No. Cottura must abide by the rulings of the Court.

Can I exchange product I previously bought?
No exchanges will be made at the sale.

Is Cottura going to continue?
Cottura will continue operations and sell merchandise on Cottura.com and at their Retail Showroom located in the Silverlake district of Los Angeles at 2900 Rowena Ave., Los Angeles 90039. (323) 662-2112.

What are normal business hours?
Retail Showroom: 10 am - 5 pm, Mon - Sat

Business Office: 8:30 am - 6 pm Mon - Fri

Why did Cottura close in the malls?
The owners wrote a letter of explanation that is available in each store and posted on Cottura.com.

How do I get on the mailing list?
Email us or call our offices at 323-662-2112.

Backorders

I have a back-order on file. Will I get it?
Back orders have been placed, and you should receive confirmation by November 15th once confirmed.

My pattern is not in stock?
Place a back order with us via phone, Retail Showroom, email, or during the Cottura Clearance Sale.

What if I my back-order is unavailable?
Certain items are not available any longer - it depends on the factory. Cottura has no control over this.

If I pay for a back-order will I lose my money?
Cottura is operating under the order of the Bankruptcy Court and all operations are reviewed for compliance.

Will I be refunded if I don't receive my order?
You will be refunded if the product is not available.

Product Availability

I am registered at Cottura. What should I do?
Back order pieces you need to complete your set.

I have some of my registry. Can I return it?
Cottura is not authorized to give refunds.

I have collected my pattern for 10 years, and still want more pieces. What should I do?
Back order pieces you need to complete your set.

Where else can I buy Cottura pieces?
A few stores may buy similar product, but we do not have a list of these stores.

How will I replace a dish if it breaks?
It will be difficult. Take advantage of today and purchase a few extra pieces just in case!
